One of the most feared men alive, there is some debate over whether MMA legend Fedor "The Last Russian Emperor" Emalianenko used kettlebells. Along with the Lance Armstrong image the picture of him standing besides a collection of kettlebells is one of the most well know on the internet. The debate goes back and forth in this article with it resting on him using kettlebells when he was younger but doing almost no weightlifting of any kind in recent years. Other MMA fighters like Frank Shamrock have trained a lot with kettlebells.
Jason Statham of "Snatch" and "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels" fame used kettlebells during a recent training cycle in August 2009 which he described in an interview withMens Health Magazine
Richard Skog is another in a long line of great Scandinavian Strongmen athletes and can be seen here getting off a few easy reps pressing a 60kg kettlebell over his head! For fear you think Skog only uses kettlebells for the conventional strongman exercises here he is again warming up for a tough session in preperation for the World Strongest Man 2010 by doing the kettlebell swing. Having won the title of Norways Strongest Man in 2009 and 2010 he qualified for the World Strongest Man in South Africa in 2010 where he put up a great challange in one of the hardest groups.

At 161kg Vasiliy Alexeev was one of the greatest Olympic weightlifters of all time, breaking 80 world records. (which is itself a world record!) At the peak of his power he would Clean and Jerk 256kg and Snatch 190kg. One of the most technically advanced athletes of his time who kept his training regimes top secret, Alexeev used kettlebells and can be seen here using it to warm up before a session as well as weight lifting in a river. Might want to give that a miss for a while.

The master himself, Bruce Lee, used kettlebells to train his back muscles and John Little makes mention of them in "Bruce Lee: The Art of Expressing the Human Body", a book compiled about his training methods and techniques. On the set of the classic "Enter the Dragon" Lee introduced the actor John Saxon, who played Roper, to the kettlebell, who at the age of 71 was pressing the 32kg over his head!
"Celebrity Trainers" generally train one "celebrity" who is usually a former celebrity or someone even Ant and Dec wouldn't approch who's trying to get back into the limelight. Few true celebrity Trainers have more then the one famous client. Not so with Missy Beaver. Her cliental includes a section of the cast of Grey's Anatomy (Katherine Heigl, Ellen Pompeo and Patrick Dempsey) as well as the cast of Nip/Tuck, Denim Jeans designer and model Paige Adams-Geller and even Joaquin Phoenix. What a women, what a name!
